Teaching Focus & Responsibilities
As a TA for this Graduate Certificate in Systems requirement, Dongyang Li supports the course goals of emphasizing patterns of systems thinking and introducing theory for model-based systems engineering (MBSE). Key areas of assistance include:
- Discrete mathematics for system modeling (sets, relations, and functions).
- Modeling functional, physical, and allocated architectures.
- Evaluating tradeoffs and defining system qualification processes.
- Assisting students with homework exercises and MBSE tool practice.
